The C1 Hoodie proudly displays the trusted 'Salvage*' symbol and are made from 100% recycled materials: -60% pre-consumer recycled organically grown cotton -40% post-consumer recycled polyester -100% recycled
Step 1 - REFORM
Firstly, cuttings are salvaged from organic cotton textile production, shredded and then turned back into soft cotton fibres.
Step 2 - RE CREATED
Fibres are then added from locally recycled plastic bottles to obtain the cotton and polyester blend.
Step 3 - RE FABRICATED
The blended fibres are spun into a fine yarn to make fabrics.
Step 4 - RE PERFECTED
Finally, production make the clothing with care to create a high-quality end product. *Salvage labelled products are certified under the Global Recycle Standard (GRS) and the Organic Content Standard (OCS) by the Control Union Certifications. At Circle One, we've gone one step further to combatting the on-going problem of end-of-life wetsuits ending up in landfill. As part of our commitment to sustainability, we operate a wetsuit recycling / re-purposing scheme in partnership with Barefoot Tech based in South Wales.
